The Knox Basketball stadium in Boronia is one of several venues utilised by the Knox Basketball League.  Their competition has evolved to be one of the strongest in Australia with a continually high level of membership. It is a non-profit association whose membership is comprised of basketball teams. All players in a team are considered members. The league offers Beginner programs, senior and junior completions.

Knox City Council runs two mid week ladies netball competitions on Wednesday and Friday mornings and a mixed netball competition on Sunday evenings. All games are played indoors with qualified umpires. The mid week ladies competitions are supported by free child minding. Registrations are open and there are vacancies in most competitions. The centre also has a register for individuals wishing to join a team, so if you're interested in joining a netball team, simply call the centre and leave your details.

Mountain District Netball Association (MDNA) currently run ladies netball competitions Monday to Thursday nights from 6.30pm. They also organise the Saturday competitions which run 2 seasons per year. The Winter season runs from March to August and the Spring season runs from September to December. The Knox Regional Netball Centre has three air-conditioned meeting rooms that can seat up to 60 people. The main indoor stadium has two full-size netball courts with permanent and moveable tiered seating making it ideal for trade shows, conventions and concerts. Catering facilities include a commercial kitchen, kiosk and a dining area.
